Position : Business Director – In Film, Out Film and OTT Brand Integration
Reporting To : Group Chairman & Managing Director
Role Summary / Purpose
The Business Director will lead Sky Blue Cinematix’s brand integration business across films, OTT platforms, and digital content, with a focus on both global and Korean markets. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving strategic growth, building high-impact partnerships, and overseeing delivery of branded content campaigns.
We are looking for a strategic leader with deep experience in film/content production and brand integrations, with existing relationships in the entertainment and media industries. The ideal candidate combines commercial acumen, creative insight, and industry leadership to strengthen Sky Blue Cinematix’s presence in global and regional entertainment markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Strategy & Growth
○ Develop and execute strategies for brand integration across films, OTT, and digital media, including opportunities in the Korean market.
○ Identify new revenue streams, partnership models, and growth opportunities globally.
○ Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
2. Partnerships & Client Acquisition
○ Build and maintain strategic relationships with:
■ Production houses & studios
■ Directors, producers, line producers
■ OTT platforms (Netflix, Amazon, Disney+, local OTTs)
■ Media agencies (GroupM, Omnicom, Publicis, Dentsu)
■ Marketing heads of brands
○ Lead negotiations for high-value brand integration deals.
○ Represent the company at industry events, forums, and business meetings.
3. Client Relationship Management
○ Serve as the primary contact for key clients.
○ Translate briefs into commercially viable brand integration concepts.
○ Ensure post-campaign reporting and client satisfaction for repeat business.
4. Revenue Generation & Financial Oversight
○ Achieve revenue and sales targets.
○ Oversee budgeting, pricing, and project profitability.
○ Support senior management in annual forecasts and business plans.
5. Team Leadership & Collaboration
○ Lead, mentor, and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
○ Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
○ Ensure coordination between internal teams and external partners.
Operational Execution
○ Oversee end-to-end execution of brand integrations.
○ Supervise post-production activities, brand visibility audits, and performance reports.
Governance & Compliance
○ Ensure compliance with policies, legal standards, and industry regulations.
○ Maintain confidentiality of company information, client data, and proprietary materials.
○ Safeguard company interests in contracts, IP rights, and partnerships.
Qualifications & Requirements
● Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Marketing, Media, Film Production, or related fields.
● Experience: Minimum 15 -25 years in entertainment marketing, content production, or brand integration, with proven knowledge of the Korean market.
● Skills & Expertise:
○ Proven track record managing high-value brand integration campaigns in film, OTT, or digital media.
○ Experience across content partnerships, product placements, licensing & merchandising, film/TV project management, content acquisition/co-production.
○ Existing relationships with:
■ Production houses, studios, directors, producers, line producers
■ OTT platforms (Netflix, Amazon, Disney+, local OTTs)
■ Media agencies and marketing heads of brands
○ Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and lead cross-functional teams.
○ Excellent strategic thinking, commercial acumen, negotiation, and client management skills.
● Desirable:
○ Experience with international or cross-market campaigns.
○ Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and contractual aspects of branded content partnerships.
○ Media sales knowledge for TV, OTT, digital, or film marketing.
