Head of Sales for SkyBlue Cinematix (In-Film, SVOD/OTT brand integration)
SkyBlue Cinematix is expanding its in-film brand integration and SVOD/OTT offering and is looking for a Head of Sales to lead global commercial strategy, client relationships and revenue growth. The role will sit at the intersection of brands, agencies and content creators, owning sales for integrated brand solutions across films, streaming series, television, music and digital content.
The Head of Sales will develop and execute go-to-market plans, secure strategic partnerships with advertisers and agencies, and work closely with content and production teams to deliver seamless, creative integrations that drive measurable ROI for brand partners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Leadership & Strategy
Define and lead the global sales strategy for in-film and SVOD/OTT brand integration, establishing targets, KPIs and commercial priorities.
Build and manage a high-performing sales team across regions, providing coaching, quota-setting and performance management.
Develop pricing, packaging and commercial frameworks for integrations, placements and cross-platform campaigns.
2. New Business Development
Prospect, pitch and close strategic deals with global advertisers, media agencies and direct brand clients for placement and integration opportunities.
Develop bespoke commercial proposals that align brand objectives with content opportunities across films, OTT series, television and digital formats.
Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and forecast revenue across short-, medium- and long-term windows.
3. Client & Agency Relationships
Serve as the senior commercial lead for key client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser on content-led branding and storytelling activations.
Collaborate with media agencies, creative agencies and brand teams to develop integrated campaign concepts and measurement frameworks.
Represent SkyBlue Cinematix at industry events and panels to strengthen market presence and generate new business.
4. Partnership Development with Studios & Platforms
Forge and expand commercial relationships with film studios, production companies, OTT platforms and independent producers to secure priority access to content opportunities.
Negotiate placement rights, co-marketing arrangements, IP usage and distribution-aligned commercial terms.
5. Deal Structuring, Commercial Delivery & Measurement
Own end-to-end commercial negotiations, contract terms and deal execution, working with legal and finance to mitigate risk and protect company interests.
Define campaign measurement approaches and KPIs with clients and internal teams to demonstrate impact and inform optimisation.
Ensure timely billing, revenue recognition and post-campaign reporting to clients.
6. Cross-Functional Delivery & Execution
Coordinate closely with content, production and creative teams to ensure integrations are delivered on brief, on budget and on schedule.
Provide commercial input during development and production phases to protect brand alignment and creative integrity.
7. Market Intelligence & Pipeline Management
Track global content production and distribution trends across key markets (Hollywood, Bollywood, K-content, European and Southeast Asian markets) to identify high-value opportunities.
Build and manage a prioritized pipeline of content properties and partnership opportunities for brand activation.
Experience & Qualifications
Essential Experience
10–15+ years' experience in sales, business development or commercial leadership within the film, television or digital entertainment sectors.
Proven track record of selling brand integrations, product placement, sponsorships or content-led advertising solutions at scale.
Established network across production houses, film studios, OTT platforms, brands and media agencies.
Industry Background Preferred
Experience with film studios, streaming platforms (SVOD/AVOD), entertainment marketing or product placement agencies.
Familiarity with content financing, distribution windows and rights management.
Key Skills
Strong commercial negotiation and deal-structuring skills.
Ability to build and lead sales teams across international markets.
Deep understanding of content production cycles and the needs of brand partners.
Strategic thinker with creative sensibilities to align brand objectives with storytelling.
Data-driven approach to forecasting, measurement and optimisation.
Additional Preferred Experience
Experience operating across multiple international entertainment markets and time zones.
Track record of developing long-term brand partnerships and recurring revenue streams.
