Role Overview
If you’ve ever seen a brand seamlessly integrated into a film, television show, or OTT series, it wasn’t by chance—it was by choice.
As Sales Head – Films, TV, OTT & Branded Content Partnerships, you will lead the commercial strategy behind these choices, shaping how brands engage with audiences across cinema, broadcast, and digital platforms.
This role drives revenue, partnerships, and scale by building deep alliances with corporate brands, and their agencies, while defining monetization frameworks and leading senior teams. Sitting at the intersection of content, commerce, and culture, the Sales Head combines strategic leadership with hands-on deal-making to deliver sustained growth and long-term value across the entertainment ecosystem.
You will oversee senior business development resources, drive topline growth, and serve as the primary commercial interface for marquee partnerships across cinema, broadcast, and digital entertainment.
Key Responsibilities
· Revenue & Growth Ownership – Own overall sales and partnership revenue across films, TV, OTT, via branded content. Define annual targets, growth plans, and monetization priorities.
· Brand & Agency Relationships – Maintain senior relationships with CMOs, brand heads, agency leadership, and media buying teams to drive sustained business growth.
· Monetization Strategy – Design and scale monetization frameworks across in-film integrations, TV & OTT sponsorships, branded content, advertiser-funded programming, and IP-led partnerships.
· Leadership & Team Management – Lead, mentor, and manage AGM and Senior Manager teams across Films, TV, and OTT partnerships, ensuring strong pipelines and execution excellence.
· High-Value Deal Closure – Personally lead complex, high-impact negotiations involving brands, agencies, production houses, broadcasters, and platforms.
· Cross-Functional Alignment – Work closely with content, production, programming, marketing, legal, and finance teams to ensure commercially sound and executable partnerships.
· Market Leadership & Insights – Track evolving trends across cinema marketing, TV ad sales, OTT monetization models, and branded entertainment to keep offerings competitive and future-ready.
· Governance & Forecasting – Own sales forecasting, pricing strategy, pipeline governance, and leadership reporting.
Profile
· 15 years plus of experience in sales leadership, ad sales, or partnerships across films, television, OTT, or media & entertainment companies.
· Strong understanding of film marketing, production ecosystems, broadcast ad sales, OTT monetization, and branded content models.
· Established senior-level relationships with production houses, studios, broadcasters, OTT platforms, brands, and agencies.
· Proven ability to lead senior teams and drive multi-platform revenue mandates.
· Strong negotiation skills with a balance of strategic vision and hands-on deal execution.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
· MBA/PG in Marketing, Media, or Business preferred.
