SkyBlue Media is seeking a commercially astute, strategic and collaborative Manager / Senior Manager – Sales & Brand Partnerships to join our Delhi office. Responsible for driving sales, building brand partnerships and supporting product placement initiatives across TV, OTT, digital, social and live events. The post-holder will work closely with commercial, creative, content and production teams, as well as external partners, to generate revenue, deliver high-quality activations and enhance audience experience.
Role Summary / Purpose
The Senior Manager – Sales & Brand Partnerships will own day-to-day sales activities for brand partnerships, sponsorships and in‑content integrations, supporting the strategic roadmap for partnership growth. This role combines hunter-led new business activity, client relationship management, commercial negotiation and hands‑on campaign delivery to ensure brand collaborations are executed to creative and commercial expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & New Business
Develop and execute a proactive sales plan to meet revenue targets, identify new opportunity areas and convert leads into signed partnerships.
Prepare compelling commercial proposals, rate cards and customised partnership packages aligned to client objectives and audience insights.
Collaborate with marketing and research teams to create pitch collateral and evidence-based commercial cases.
Account Management & Client Relationships
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned brand partners and agencies, managing expectations and delivering on contractual commitments.
Build long-term relationships to drive renewal and upsell opportunities, and identify strategic partnership potential.
Coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure seamless campaign execution and high client satisfaction.
Commercial Negotiation & Reporting
Lead negotiations on commercial terms, deliverables, exclusivities and invoicing, ensuring alignment with company policy and editorial standards.
Prepare revenue forecasts, track sales pipelines and report against targets in partnership with finance and commercial leads.
Maintain accurate deal documentation, ensuring timely contract sign-off and billing reconciliation.
Campaign Delivery & Activation
Project manage campaign activations end‑to‑end, coordinating creative, production and distribution teams to meet timelines, quality standards and KPIs.
Implement measurement approaches to evaluate reach, engagement and commercial impact, and produce post‑campaign analysis and recommendations.
Identify optimisation opportunities and scale successful formats across channels and markets.
Partnership Development & Creative Collaboration
Work with creative and editorial teams to design integrated solutions that respect editorial integrity and deliver brand outcomes.
Champion innovative activation formats (branded content, product placement, experiential and digital-first concepts) that resonate with audiences.
Support the development of case studies and productised offers that can be scaled by the wider sales team.
Process & Collaboration
Contribute to the development of sales processes, templates and governance to ensure consistency and efficient deal execution.
Share market and competitor insights to inform pricing, packaging and partnership strategy.
Work collaboratively across commercial, editorial and production teams to embed best practice in rights management and compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Media, Communications or related discipline.
● Experience: 5–8 years in sales, brand partnerships, sponsorships or content commercialisation, with demonstrable experience owning and closing deals across broadcast, OTT, digital or experiential channels.
● Strong commercial acumen with experience in commercial negotiation, pipeline management and revenue forecasting.
● Excellent client-facing skills, presentation ability and experience working with agencies, brands and production partners.
● Clear understanding of content production workflows, editorial considerations and rights management.
● Data-informed approach with experience setting and reporting against KPIs and campaign performance metrics.
● Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
