We're Hiring: Quality Checker – Vehicle Vinyl Installation, Removal & PPF SkyBlue Group | Dubai, UAE | Full-time

SkyBlue Group is looking for a detail-driven Quality Checker to join our vehicle branding team. If you have a sharp eye for finish, alignment, and workmanship — and solid hands-on knowledge of vinyl and PPF — we'd like to hear from you.

About the role You'll be the final checkpoint before a vehicle goes back to the client: inspecting vinyl and PPF work on buses and vehicles for alignment, finish, and quality, and making sure every job meets SkyBlue Group, client, and RTA standards.

What you'll do

• Inspect vinyl installations for alignment, positioning, sizing, colour match, and finish

• Spot defects such as bubbles, wrinkles, lifting edges, overlaps, cuts, and rough finishing

• Check vehicle surfaces before and after installation or removal

• Confirm vinyl removal is done cleanly, with no paint damage, scratches, or adhesive residue

• Flag any existing vehicle damage or defects before work begins

• Run final quality checks before vehicle handover

• Verify surface preparation and cleaning meet standard

• Apply strong working knowledge of PPF — installation quality, edges, seams, bubbles, and finish

• Work closely with applicators and supervisors to get quality issues fixed fast

• Keep inspection checklists, reports, and photo records up to date

• Ensure all work meets company, client, and RTA quality and safety requirements

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in any relevant field

• 2–3 years' experience in vehicle branding, vinyl installation/removal, PPF, or quality inspection

• Solid knowledge of vinyl, PPF, adhesives, lamination, and vehicle surface preparation

• A sharp eye for detail and strong observation skills

• Clear communicator who can report issues and coordinate across teams

• Comfortable working under pressure to meet project deadlines
